This is a good travel book for Australia, and hits all the highlights.  I use a variety of guides but always find myself relying on Lonely Planet for the most up-to-date, relevant information.
You will find lots of Australian details for the cities you plan to visit.  It helped me make decisions on areas, sights and culture. I will take the book with me on my trip at the end of March.  It is a good layman’s guide and I’m glad I have it as a resource.

            Review

I go to Japan on business quite a bit and decided to take some time to visit some interesting spots in Tokyo, which is touted as one of the most interesting cities in the world.  This book was crucial for my Tokyo trip and I found it to be a good resource.  It was brief and very informative and let me plan my whole trip on the airplane ride over. Worth the read especially for the food section- it made restaurant searching so much easier. If I had to choose one travel guide to help me navigate the city, it would be this one.

I really like this travel guide. It is easy to read,  up-to-date, and is loaded with lots of nice pictures, which is a big plus for me. There are maps of every section of Iceland; transportation tips on getting around; a section on history, the people, literature, the environment, harvesting the sea, viewing wildlife, places to see, the time zone, what to bring, tour operations, accommodations, activities for children, shopping, festivals, nightlife, money, etiquette, crime & safety, religious services, electricity, toilets, useful words & phrases with proper pronunciation, dining, passports and visas.  It is just a great source of information. I’d highly recommend this great guide.

                    Review

This is the best travel guide of the Philippines that I found.   It was well put together, packed with detailed information and has a slew of helpful maps. I’d recommend it to anybody as you won’t find  better one. The book
gives you everything you need to know to travel on your own. I’ve seen places described and good value
hotels listed that other guides don’t even mention. The author really know what they are talking about.  I was so glad I had a copy of this guide while I was planning my trip.
