          Book Review

This guidebook  highlights the best of the Greek Islands.  Our trip was to Athens, Satorini, and Mykonos. I bought six travel books and this one was one of my two favorites. While the others try to pack too much info about every island, DK gives more specifics in a short, readable format. . This book is filled with great info that helped both plan my trip and navigate the Greek Islands while we were there.  We used the recommendations for restaurants and were pleasantly surprised by the good food in all of them.  This is an excellent guidebook!

I go to Japan on business quite a bit and decided to take some time to visit some interesting spots in Tokyo, which is touted as one of the most interesting cities in the world.  This book was crucial for my Tokyo trip and I found it to be a good resource.  It was brief and very informative and let me plan my whole trip on the airplane ride over. Worth the read especially for the food section- it made restaurant searching so much easier. If I had to choose one travel guide to help me navigate the city, it would be this one.
