    Review

I go to Japan on business quite a bit and decided to take some time to visit some interesting spots in Tokyo, which is touted as one of the most interesting cities in the world.  This book was crucial for my Tokyo trip and I found it to be a good resource.  It was brief and very informative and let me plan my whole trip on the airplane ride over. Worth the read especially for the food section- it made restaurant searching so much easier. If I had to choose one travel guide to help me navigate the city, it would be this one.

            Review

I am a fan of Lonely Planet Travel Guides and used this guide extensively on a recent Scandinavian vacation. During the course of the trip I visited Norway, Denmark, and Sweden, and loved them all for different reasons. This guide gave me generally good overviews of all three countries.  The sights that were recommended were spot on. I had a blast on my sight-seeing tours.  This is such a good book that  I recommend it without reservation. It was extremely readable and excellent for designing your itinerary. It will get you where you want to go for sure!

              Review

I have been dreaming to be in Sweden all my life. I cant believe that I am going there in couple of months. As for my preparation, I have been reading a lot of books, magazines and other reading materials to know exactly what to expect and this book is by far meets my criteria.    It is a great travel companion to Sweden with useful facts like climate, when to visit, suggested regions and places to see, famous places you want to visit, things to know and what to expect. Great book and great guide, it sure makes the reader equip with the right knowledge on Sweden. After reading the book, I have listed my own bucket list where exactly to go, stay and eat on my vacation.

I really like this travel guide. It is easy to read,  up-to-date, and is loaded with lots of nice pictures, which is a big plus for me. There are maps of every section of Iceland; transportation tips on getting around; a section on history, the people, literature, the environment, harvesting the sea, viewing wildlife, places to see, the time zone, what to bring, tour operations, accommodations, activities for children, shopping, festivals, nightlife, money, etiquette, crime & safety, religious services, electricity, toilets, useful words & phrases with proper pronunciation, dining, passports and visas.  It is just a great source of information. I’d highly recommend this great guide.

                    Review

This is the best travel guide of the Philippines that I found.   It was well put together, packed with detailed information and has a slew of helpful maps. I’d recommend it to anybody as you won’t find  better one. The book
gives you everything you need to know to travel on your own. I’ve seen places described and good value
hotels listed that other guides don’t even mention. The author really know what they are talking about.  I was so glad I had a copy of this guide while I was planning my trip.
